Drift

Since I gave Hayate a Drift costume, I thought it would be interesting to show some more about him.

Personally, character wise, Drift is just ok. Pretty much just a Mary Sue in all aspects, but his design is just plain AWESOME. This is actually the first TF I got for the design rather than the character. This is also one of the very few characters that only appear in the comics, and got a toy made. His name obviously comes from the Japanese "drifting" driving technique coming from the writing on the sides and the type of car he is.

According to Drift's creator/writer, he thought it would be cool to have a story about a Decepticon turned Autobot. You know, cuz they NEVER DONE THAT BEFORE! 48 characters pre Drift So the Decepticon Deadlock found some ancient Cybertronians and taught him stuff that made him changed his ways (along with his name and looks). Makes you think that he's from some awful fanfic, right? Oh well, at least his design is worth it.

Normally, I don't collect transformers that have vehicle mode but these guys are samurai, how can I say no?

lol nice! Bludgeon was always awesome! I always loved how he looked like this skeletal zombie corpse. That one was part of the TF movie line right?

Yeah, he part of the TROF movie line and Banzaitron is recolor for more recent toy line.

Too bad the pic didn't show the daggers they have addition to swords.

I remember seeing him in the store, but didn't like what they did to his face. I saw the daggers too. They're pretty awesome!
