HMM Liger Zero and Lightning Siax.

So I have alot to say here.

Lets start with the good:

Liger Zero: AMAZING detail. Better then any HMM I have owned. Its well built. I can be rough with him without worring about anything breaking. I love his shortened snout, very chibi, can be a bad thing for his fearce-ness level, but fuck it. Ligers cute. We all know this.

People said his claws couldnt move, well they can. You just have to break them and trim them abit and then put them in. They act just like the motorized liger Zero. I was rather pleased with this find. I rate him 9 out of 10.

lightning saix:

The good, well there isnt much in my opinion. I love how sleek and slender she is, the detail is perfect. they got lightning saix just right with its body. I love the twin rifle, Its just so perfect in its detail....But thats about all I can say for the saix, Sadly.

THE BAD, Now, I have a mouthfull for koto is I could..But anyways.

Lets start with Liger Zero, Hes amazing, But the Blue. I cant stand the blue on him. Its just...ew. And so is the brown. I soo dont like it. Im painting it black asap. I HATE the tail. WTF is this? Its perma curved, really? No. Dont do that.

You know those fines on his face>? The vents? They had a little flap that moves. For some stupid reason the flaps never shut so I had to glue him.

My biggest pet peeve with Zero is he cant look down. At all.

And last, the thin on his chest that holds the core in, Would NOT stay. I had to glue it in there. ;3;

Thats why liger got a 9/10

On to Saix. Ohmygod I hate this thing. I LOVE IT,But I hate it

Ill start with its head. I love the teeth, but its cheeks, WTF. WHY ARE THEY SO FAT?!Poofy and awkward. Moving down the body to the neck, DUDe. I cant keep it on. I move it to the side and it pops off. which brings me to by biggest pet peeve of saix. its ball joints. I dont know if its just me, but its balls are too big for the sockets and pop out with the slightest movement. Its wrists and shoulders. UGH. It sucks,.

Okay, from memory, I know Saix ONLY had TWO weapons. Gatling gun on its head, and the rifle. WHY is there a missle pod and hidden gun? Helloooo they shouldnt be there. ;DDD

On down the thing that holds the gun to the body, dosnt stay. I can poke the gun and it pops off. Frustrating. ;3; Now. My biggest problem was the hide legs. why is there just a SMALL peice of plastic holding 2nd joint to 3rd? It broke on me. And glue HATES whatever plastic they used, so I ended up chopping and plastic welding it together, which ruined the leg and I had to hot glue the fucking armor on. And being a hated 17 year old, getting fancy glue isnt an option for me. Its like pulling baby teeth just to go to walmart around here. ;3; It still moves..It looks fine unless you look REALLY hard at it. and it was 3:30 am. I wasnt happy.

I give saix a 6/10

I might paint it frost colored...And when I buy another being im stil la saix obsessed person Ill paint what one my desert special.

Everyone keeps making me want the Zero more and more X3

I have a lot of the same issues with the saix. I can't touch mine without the legs falling out of the sockets! I've noticed that super glue doesn't like the plastic. The gun turret on both my HMM wolves broke and the will not glue back together. I no longer have the saix's gun not staying problem anymore... my teething puppy chewed up the gun so now I have to make a new main weapon ;3;

I don't mind the new weapon additions at all. Koto's not really into anime accuracy, rather they like to re-imagine the zoids and give them a little more stylization.

Speaking of having to superglue parts... I propose we have a super gluing guide for the future owner of those HMM Zoids... I saw the supergluing guide somewhere else and thought it was a fantastic idea. That I now wish I'd have found it earlier so I can superglue parts of Mirage's in the building process.
Make a new thread, those who have the Zoids that requires any fixes/gluing can put their recommendations on it. Like a little manual or something.

I personally love the hidden weapons, I think they're cool. It seems to be a running theme with HMM, as the Gunsniper has extra missiles that it didn't normally have. XDD Anyway, that's just me

BUT OH GOD YES THE BALL JOINTS.
Poor Emo can't pose properly because the balls are jammed into the sockets, normally when I try to, the little square knob that holds the ball ends up releasing it before I move the joint any... I was worried about the tail armour personally... Used superglue on it to make SURE it stayed on cos I knew it'd fall off for me. Did you have that problem?

I can do that with Mirage since I'll be gluing after painting. There's one area that's an absolute must for Bladys so their butts don't fall off constantly XD

Ugh how'd i'd love to smack them for this lightning saix. ;3;It seems everyone is having the same problems for the saixs am I am Ugh. Im going to pose it jumping and hang it from my shelfe and be done with it.

lol I was just reading everything on this page and was thinking..I don't remember having these problems with my saix, so I grab the saix off the shelf, *weapon falls off, one leg falls off*
... hmmmm yea maybe I did have that problem

Saix probably does need a lot more work if we wanted him to be as stable as possible. Wonder if somebody did create a fix "manual" for him?

I keep feeling that HMM saix is not getting a fair shake here. Mine didn't give that much trouble. I have a question of those that owns HMM Saix, is the shoulder joints are loose and the hips joints are tight on yours? I'm talking about the ball joints, mine was like that. I fixed my saix's loose shoulder joints by putting a strip of masking tape on it and pop it back in with tape still on it. It hasn't fallen out since.

I done a review of the 3 HMM Blade Ligers awhile back over at ZoidsPoison review section, it including gluing instructions.

I'm not sure it's acceptable that I post link of my review on some else's review thread.

My front-shoulders were fineish, they haven't given me too much trouble, but the back ball joints are so tight that it doesn't move at all. The only moving that is done is by other pieces, but not that ball joint XD

This makes me wonder if the tight joints in the hip would be better in the shoulder.......

I would test this IF I could get the back ones would even come out. XD
