I already entered Tomcat in the contest, I am planning to enter two more. One for B and one for A.
If I can't get one for B done by the end of April, I won't enter for A, since the zoid I'm planning for A is HMM zoid.

Still working on Mirage. I'm on the last blade and AB unit and then he's finished. Some advice for anyone putting the decals on their HMM Mirage, the big white decal that goes on the side of the AB unit, #53 & 54, don't apply it first and then cut the extra off. Cut out the extra first then apply it on as 4 separate parts instead. Unless you like Xacto knife hell...

Yeah you have to cut it out like this because of how the circle part and the two little parts on the circle stick up. If you lay the whole thing on top, it just bubbles. The rest of the decals are fine. Just remember to spray clear coat over when you finish so the decals won't rub off.  |

Awesome! Which ones are yours, Deathy? Command Wolf Royal Guard, Goldler (dammit Liem, it's GoldLer, not Golder) and Helcat Night Assault. I have no chance in hell of winning..... especially with Lionel's insect, Ghostie's Drachen and kami knows what Maethius is gonna put up. I'm f**ked for sure. D| Rayse's entries... I don't like them at all. I just simply don't. And those entries that are supposed to be imitations of Zoids like Sturm Tyrann and the Z2 Zolkon aren't original at all. I mean really D: There should be a Category C for stuff like that and prizes for like... best job (aka that looks almost like the real thing or something). Gah I dunno, I'm just typing out crap so I can kick it out of my head. Not having a particularly good week when I'm leaving chunks of myself everywhere. |

Well category A is for paint jobs rather than customizing. It even states in the rules that "an existing built zoid with a fresh coat of paint will also be accepted" so Rayse's entries are valid however totally lame they are. I think if you're going to do that, then go all out with fine detail painting not just paint it exactly the same.

Rayse's entries are Cat B's. Redemption and that weirdass dino thingy with IK legs that looks like a demon than anything else.
And yeah I kinda agree with adding details than slapping on paint...

Oh woops XD; I kinda like Redemption. Kinda cuz don't like spiders, mecha or not. It's not a bad build though. But the other one I just don't like plain and simple. The proportions are just entirely wrong.

I agree, Rayse works are all intimidating pieces of construction, but sometimes I think he takes these competitions too seriously, and somehow its reflected in his work: too much business, not enough awesome.
