I agree, Rayse works are all intimidating pieces of construction, but sometimes I think he takes these competitions too seriously, and somehow its reflected in his work: too much business, not enough awesome. What's your name on ZP? o.O @ghostie: Nu! Drachen can CPC them all! ;D (Just don't CPC my Helcat NA and my two other Zoids >> <<) |

And to think, between Maethius, Bellyheng, Frenchie, and myself, the next batch is going to be an absolute beast. Someone is liable to die from awesome-overdose. But in the mean time,
I like something about each and every entry from our recent batch. I wasn't expecting much from the Baryonyx blox my little brother gave me to submit, but it's a good way for him to get his feet wet in customizing. Blaze-- your Mirage is going to sweep the paint category. And that Lightning Saix is pretty freaking sweet too. A shame that both it and Elasmosaurus had to come out in the same colors and at the same time. I would have liked a bit more entries between them to better appreciate them. 0013 is either a really fugly triceratops, or an awesome looking jackson's chameleon.

I think Frenchie dropped out because he didn't want to rush his piece. Which is a shame, I'd have liked to see what his custom's gonna be like. But I can't wait to see all the big darthers entries.
I'm already planning for next year, lots of preparation time, whoo. Two entries. Ghostie and Vig knows some of my plans but I shall not reveal it >)

Ya, it was either a case of rush like crazy to get it in on time and not do to the level he's capable of, or take his time to get it done just how he wants it.
I made the same decision with my planned second entry. After doing my back in I couldn't really get down to search around the box for the parts I wanted to use and by the time I felt able to, there wasn't a lot of time left. At least I have Drachen. He may be my only entry, but he's my best piece. He's the one I want everyone to see. I don't want to enter a second just for the sake of entering. The only reason I entered Drachen was to give me the motivation to finish him ^^
Regardless of the outcome of this contest, I want to make a point of entering more. To me custom contests have always been "the thing that -other- Zoiders did", so to actually enter makes me feel a part of it after all these years

I'm glad you did, Ghostie. Even as just an observer, it feels great seeing the Geno Drachen in all it's glory. I think it has a very strong presence in this contest, so great debute.
EDIT: Apparently I need to re-submit my entry. It'd be really cool if the Geno Drachen, Mirage, my custom, and whatever else entry from this forum, have a The Zoidian-exclusive Battle Royale showdown. What do you guys think? ^_^

Is the Lyunsailung yours? (The Baryonyx is in it (or looks like it XD)) It looks quite good.
And heck yeah that sounds like a good idea ;D Maybe we should have our own custom contest, ZP just kills me with all the epic darthers out there. (Though we won't be able to have prizes XD).
