... HMMs

Yeah. I know I've mentioned before that I'm going to cut down on HMMs, but trying to just cut down isn't really working, what with Koto releasing so many designs that I like. Thus I've decided that the only way to solve my dilemma is to stop getting them completely.

We're all aware how expensive Zoids are nowadays, particularly HMMs, and I'm sure most of us know how bad I am at getting round to building the buggers. This means me and Electric are getting a mound of large HMM boxes taking up space in our bedroom, which I have tripped on more than once.

So henceforth I shall get only the HMMs I've pre-ordered already (I feel terribly guilty about pre-ordering them then changing my mind and having the poor guys wondering why I don't want them any more) which'll be Pteras Bomber Jamie custom, Liger Zero Schneider (CAS only) and hopefully, if I can get the funds together, Geno Breaker Raven (Haven't pre-ordered yet. Waiting to see if it'll be possible) After that I shall be nixing all other HMMs, other than Helcat should Koto see fit to release it.

This does not mean I'm giving up Zoids completely. What I save not getting the HMMs I'm planning to put towards finishing Tsume and getting some of the old school kits I missed out on.

There, now I have it in writing!

HMMs have always been overrated (financially) anyway. At least you haven't quit zoids and customizing altogether. Looking forward to your next piece!

Exactly. I love what Zoids used to be, and with my limited funds at the moment buying HMMs means I can't buy of the others I wanted.

^^ Well I've submitted my first entry for the ZP Custom contest. Just waiting for it to be uploaded before I can post it here. Whether there'll be a second entry is questionable. I'm certainly working on one, it's just a matter of if I can get it finished in time.

Awesome, can't wait to see it!(The Parasaurer perhaps? Or maybe Geno Dragon!) And just because you aren't buying HMMs doesn't mean you can't win one ^_^

Yea I hear ya they are pricey fellas and theres an overwhelming amount of them, gotta do what's best for yourself

@vig: Yeah, Koto certainly haven't dragged their feet releasing stuff.

I think they are reasonably priced, but it's the shipping costs that makes getting them painful. They're definitely not for the causal model builder either. I think you're making a good decision going with saving for the older models since you can build them a lot quicker.

Ya. If I was more into the detailed building process it would be different, but at the end of the day patience is not my forté
