Fav anime intros!

Random thought, but what are some of your favorite anime intros?

This one's definitely one of my all time favorites just because of the unique use of typography and angles. Plus the song's by Oasis :3


I love the OP to Air Gear for its song and simplicity. Plus I like how they added the type in the backgrounds.

The Ghost in the Shell series easily had some of my all time favorite anime intros ever. And to me, once I saw the intro to the Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex, it blew FMA out of the water. I put both cuz I really REALLY love them. Yoko Kanno and Origa are fantastic.

I like T.M Revolution, they did Heart of the Sword for RK iirc.

Here's a few I liked:

Claymore- I just like the music and the opening scenes are pretty good


Appleseed- Music and the whole opening scene just works so well together. I really love it ;D


Appleseed ExMachina- and they've done it again ;D I really like their openings. Though I know these two aren't series but great openings for animes still.

Sorry guys, could we keep to two embeds per post on threads like this please. We had this problem in the music thread. If you wanna embed more by all means you may double or triple post. This way it just limits it to about 30 per page instead of 60

Oh yeah the OP to the Appleseed movies were awesome! I think the OP in the first is still my fav. Paul Oakenfold did such an awesome job with the song.

My favourite is probably the opening of Kemono no Souja Erin, but I can't find a video of the actually opening anywhere! It's a lovely stylised opening though! Oh! Oh! And the original Gundam Wing OP, but I don't think I need to post that!
