Review:
My Gojulas has been with me practically as long as I have been Zoiding and yet I still vividly remember the day I had to ask my Dad to reach up and get him down from the top shelf in Toymaster.
He was both the tallest and the first Zoid in my collection to have lights so it was rather exciting for me at the time.
Gojulas isn't an overly complex build in my opinion, but then he doesn't have a lot of motor features to accommodate.
I wouldn't say this colour scheme is the most exciting Gojulas has ever been given, but the tarnished silver still looks nice and is complemented well by the other colours.
Thankfully the light battery covers carry the redesign introduced to the OJR Gojulas MK-II with the extra pegs so it can equip the CP-10 Gojulas Cannons unit.
So would I say he's worth getting? Well yes. With all the Gojulas variants out there this guy often gets forgotten in my collection, which is a shame because he's quite nifty and his design is a classic, based on the Japanese monster Godzilla (He also takes his name from the Japanese word for Godzilla: Gojira) but it's advised not to handle him too much. In order for the head to turn properly it needs a weight which consequently needs to be counter balanced with a weight in the tail. This tail weight puts a lot of strain on the ring and peg attachment, and it's quite common for the tail to break off.
If you're willing to treat him with care however, this guy will make an impressive addition to your collection. ^^
