Celtic's 30 Character Challenge

Pirate showed me this challenge thing where you make one character each day of November. So here I go. XD Except mine is two-fold. I'll make a character and revamp an older character at the same time. I hope to hit each letter of the alphabet too!

November 1

Created: Anapa.
The original Anubis elite (a small collection of Egyptian high priests that survive even to this day). He's anchored to the cuffs that are handed down through the elitists.

Revamped: Gustav.
I named him BEFORE I knew about zoids, just to say. XD
Leader of the Street Kidz which I'm going to revamp too as soon as I have a free day. He used to be a silver back jackal anthro but I felt like doing him as a human with a few animal characteristics.

Created: Boyko.
A coward of a nightelf rogue that can easily be startled into, or out of, stealth.

Revamped: Kristav.
Gustav's twin brother, so I just did the head to try a different haircut. He's obviously perterbed at Boyko's cowardice.



The flies are an oldold inside joke. Jasmine's friend would always draw two flies, one saying "boo" the other thinking it. It just fit with Boyko.

Today I revamped Kyle, the older brother and bodyguard of Gus and Kris. He's ... uhm. You know, I'm still trying to figure out a better new story for him. A genetic something or other. Not sure quite what tho.
Back when I first made him, he was a blend of Ruber's potion (from Quest for Camelot) and needlenose pliers. XD; That sounds dumb, I know, but at that time in my life, he looked scary and I liked him. Trying to carry this over into these days is definitely a challenge. This is actually the forth revamp he's gone through.

And I created: Cylmar, a young, low-ranking pixie that strives to be a hero, like tomorrow's character, but in his attempts to get stronger, he ends up finding something out that's put his life at risk. More will be revealed tomorrow. /gg
(Cylmar and tomorrow's character are based on a dream last night.)


PS, Kyle may look fluffy, but all that 'fluff' is metallic spines. Don't hug unless you want to be impaled.

This is a pretty good idea to do! I try to do same thing, only I seem to draw a transformer lol I can definitely see improvement in your characters.

AND HERE WE GO

Revamped: Hyper Activity and Major Catastrophe, two best friends who are more like brothers and virtually inseparable, even if sometimes they annoy each other. They're the party animals of the Street Kidz, HA loving to tell jokes and just be silly while Major C likes to play pranks and occasionally ruin things.



Created: Eukaryh, the "hero" Cylmar used to worship. However, as Cylmar strove to become a hero, he discovered just what Eukaryh did to become such a hero... You see, Eukaryh was setting up the problems that would require a hero (letting a spider loose to terrorize and kill the population so he'd be worshiped when he killed it, start a fire to save lives, etc) and how far he went to protect his hero-hood... IE, killing anyone who found out. Therefore, Cylmar, still a bit in shock and not believing, has put himself in danger of losing his life.

Also created: Davis, from a completely different dream. He's a skeptic that doesn't believe in anything unproven - cryptids, fantasy, any sort of religion or paranormal experience, etc etc etc. (hence his stinkeye to the pixie Eukaryh) He's travelled to the roots of the Living Tree (it changed so much in the dream - from a cliff with tree elements, to a marsh with tree-like roots all through it, to a river of trees - that I just called it the Living Tree) to find out about the shifting lands and a cryptid (tomorrow's character) that lived there in his attempt to explain away the strange happenings that had been chasing people from there for centuries.



And a big THANK YOU to Pirate for helping me find names for Eukaryh and Davis. (Suggested Dave and Eustace, I went from there. XD)

Revamped: Lucky, an albino ... uhm... foxwolfdog, IDK. He's white. And Lucky to be alive. Being the weaker of the Streetkidz, he's often targetted by enemies, only surviving through sheer determination and the help of other streetkidz.

Created: Fyzrael. The resident cryptid of the Living Tree. He doesn't know he is, when he's aware, he's human - but with gills. Sort of. They seal over when he's human so they're more like scars. But on some occassions, he loses control and turns into the beast on the right (of Fyz' picture), the gills open and he becomes ... sorta like a swamp monster thing. He never remembers when he goes Cryptid. He believes in the thing, but doesn't know why, and ends up arguing with Davis a lot.

Revamped: Arkayoptrix, an ex-streetkid who has a dark-Darwinian mindset (the weak should die, the strong should live) and left the Streetkidz because of how they helped the weak. Read: He loooathes Lucky, because he's weak and keeps getting attacked. Trix finds Lucky and those like him or those that helped him, to be a hindrance to society.

Created: Cinaed. He came last night in a dream. XD I'll copypaste his section of the dream from LJ:

They made their way to the humans domain, the captive nightelf tied on the bow, to bait the humans. But as they got in the domain, a masked worker on the ship jumped on the prow, cutting Nish free. A family of royal bloodelf-like guys came up, angered at the mutiny, but the masked man and king and several guards began to fight them, killing the crew and adult Bloodelves. Then the "prince" elf came out, drew his sword and said, "You killed my parents and their crew... yet, I surrender to you."
It was then that the king introduced the masked man as Cinaed, who grabbed the "prince" and took him to a prison.

While I was trying to go alphabetically, I'll make an exception for Cinaed. He just looked so awesome in the dream and acted so awesome that I couldn't not make him an official character. XD
