The title comes from the phrase "Welcome to my parlour said the spider to the fly", but has absolutely nothing to do with parlors, spiders or flies, and everything to do with the fact that, this very moment, 100 years ago, the Titanic sank, and now lies in the hands of a very greedy element known as Abyss of the Depths.  (Titanic and sub are pictures cos I am lazy.) |

Thanks! I did some touchups today and painted the sub in instead of being a lazy ass and just having the picture. Hoping to do the same to the Titanic. XD; I was originally going to have his eyes a dull white but the idea occurred to me that, #1, that would make them boring grey and lose his face in the background, and #2, glowy always makes for fun. ETA: Oh yea, forgot to post it here... But today I did another quick sketch of Abyss. He's really been having too much fun today, and developing himself from a rather bland mysterious deep sea evil dude to one who likes to play and show off, and has a rather psychotic side if allowed....  My description on dA went majorly fic-like... Beyond the reach of the Natural Element, Aqua Marine of the Waters, in stolen territory, an evil presence eagerly awaits a new toy... Abyss of the Depths, the Rogue Element of depths and pressure, the counter of Sky, takes hold of the Titanic, pulling it down, into his realm, where he will keep it hidden for decades, before finally allowing mankind a glimpse of his favourite trophy. "Watch yourself, little people, I will let you see my favourite toy, but be careful. You are oh so fragile and that little metal bubble need only a small fault for me to claim you as my own."And that suddenly turned into a weird little novel, ignore that. >.> |
