Hey there Zoid lovers and fans(may sound the same) it's my first time here and I wanted to say hi to you all. Originally, I registered a few months back but I've never made any posts and I've gone offline ever since, forgetting that I've registered here and all. I love the heading and the mascot of the forums, Brastle Tiger(yeah, he's my baby ) especially the artwork that goes with it.
Now here is something about myself.
I was born into an anime-loving family and most importantly, into a time when Zoids was still familiar and hot in my country. around the age of 4 or 5, our family got a new PS2 and my dad, who is a video game fan( and lover) bought all sorts of cool games for his PS2. One of those games was Zoids. I was young and curious so one day when he was out working, I "explored" the pile of CDs and video games he has and found one game that would later become my sole childhood anime. Zoids. After I saw my fatehr play on the PS2 a few times, I decided to jump ahead and try doing it on my own this time. As the game loaded, I played and played for the first few hours. I was thoroughly fascinated by the graphics and "animals" they made that many years came I continued playing on my PS2. But time eventually came that I grew out of video games a bit and focused more on studies and the outside world to the point I neglected my game for many months. Then the fateful day came that my dad decided to sell our PS2 console because he too grew tired of it. I, at that time too said that it was time to get rid of it and who knows years later that I'll come to miss my beloved game and PS2. But things started to turn around in 2011.
A few weeks before Christmas, I found out that it was possible to play PS2 on my computer and so I went ahead and implemented it in my computer. I also got the same game I had years ago(but sadly had to repeat what I started) after days of looking.
Excitement tingled my fingers as I went ahead and once again loaded the game this time on my pc. And ever since last year, I now played Zoids in my spare time and have learned a lesson from my mistake many years ago. That I'll never let go of it again.
Even though my Zoid models aren't here with me ever since I moved to the Americas two years ago, I still have the game that will keep me remembering of my childhood. Today, I now have Pokemon and Zoids as my 2 top favourite animes of all time. I play TCG in case you want to know. And also this year as one of my new year's resolutions, I plan to write my very first fanfic about sharks, maybe zoids and as well as try my hand at drawing the mecha.
This was a lengthy intro about myself! Sorry for those who don't like long intros. I'm so used to typing long paragraphs it somehow ingrained itself in my system. Thank you for taking the time to read it, I really appreciate it. If you have any questions or would just like to get to know me more please ask away. I don't bite!
Leo out.
