I feel the same way about my work as well, but hey, so long as it's still fun to build'em, I see no reason to stop!

Definitely know I won't have anything this year, blah. I was working on a custom called Nephthys for it, but no way will it be done. Not to mention my Schneider repaint T.T

Last day appears to be July 31. In case the site goes down again, here's a full rundown:

ZP Customisation Contest 2012 will open from 1 May - 31 July 2012.

There will be 2 Categories for submission of entries.

CATEGORY A (BEST PAINT)

Entries need not be modified "significantly" for submission. Minor modifications such as placement of one or two weapon parts with a new coat of paint will be accepted. In fact, an existing built zoid with a fresh coat of paint will also be accepted.

CATEGORY B (CUSTOMISATION - OPEN THEME)

As a tradition, Zoids Customisation Contest 2012 will be an Open-Theme for all entries.

RULES

No limitation on the number of entries per participant. Participant can also submit for both Categories.

Entries must not be used in previous or other competitions. All other WIPs are eligible.

All entries (photos) must be submitted to Zoidspoison to indicate submission before posting on other websites, including your own blogs. Contestants are allowed to post their customs elsewhere after their entries are uploaded on ZP. PLEASE NOTE THAT ONCE THE ENTRY HAS BEEN SUBMITTED TO ZP, IT WILL BE UPLOADED ON THE FORUM.

Contestants may choose to submit their entries at a later stage if they do not wish to "showcase" their entries early. However, in such cases, contestants are not allowed to post their custom entries elsewhere.

Contestants are to submit a minimum of 2 photos and maximum of 5 photos. Contestants can choose to provide a link for more photos of their customs. Artworks are allowed. With the exception of ONLY adjusting for lightning using photoshop, all other enhancements to photos are PROHIBITED.

You may wish to include a synopsis or battlestory with your entry although it is not compulsory.

PRIZES

4 prizes (latest HMM zoids) including shipping charges. May add more prizes depending on number of entries.

Best Paint (from Category A)
Best Built (from Category B)
Most Original/ Creative (from Category B)
Best Overall (from Category A and B)


Contestant can only win a prize from each category (other than Best Overall).

SUBMISSION

Submission of entry photos to Zoidspoison is all that is required. Overseas ZP members are most welcome to participate.

VOTING

1. All registered members before 1 May 2012 are eligible to vote

2. Each member is allowed to cast a maximum of 3 votes for each domain, i.e. 3 votes for Best Paint, 3 votes for Best Built etc:
- Best Paint (Entries from Category A)
- Best Built (Entries from Category B)
- Most Original/ Creative (Entries from Category B)
- Best Overall (Entries from both Category A and B)

3. Participants are not allowed to vote for your own entry/ entries.

4. Members can vote for the same entry in each domain. For example, one can vote for a same Entry from Category B in Best Built, Most Original and Best Overall.

5. Please send your Votes to [e-mail] and indicate "ZP Customisation Contest 2012 Votes"

6. Closing date: TBC
