Aaaaah I still can't believe I missed you!

I'll get my photos up soon (and wow I didn't see ANY of these cosplayers, I guess because it was so FREAKING BUSY on saturday guuuh)

Isn't that the truth, I mean I thought it was busy last year, but my God, this year absolute bedlam.

Was it any better on Sunday?

I heard Sunday and Friday were a LOT less busy this year, but I could only really afford (time-wise!) to go on the Saturday. I think Saturday is a better day for meeting new people, but I spent well over half an hour on the phone to a friend from college trying to find her because of the sheer number of people.

There were some really lovely people there on Saturday though!

We'd have love to have done the Sunday but because of the imminent widespread destruction of the British Isles (the storm) we decided to bug out of London before all the trains fell over, and it was a good thing we did because sure enough, the next day all the trains in Suffolk weren't running, and we lost power for about 30 hours. Still, aside from a missing roof tile we got through it alright, and were definitely justified in bugging out a day early, as painful as it was to not go back on the Sunday (which was the day I was planning on doing a bit of shopping, but there you go ).

Oooh dear! I got a day off college because of the storm but I think it passed straight over Camberwell! I was hearing all these horror stories about blocked trainlines and ruined houses but all I could find were a few branches that had come down on a side street!

The only things I bought were an Adventure Time Oyster wallet, a magazine and lots of fruitless goes on the raffle stall. I did want to grab something from the mecha stall (in the main hall) but it was just waaaaay too busy down that end. There's always next year!
