As part of my college course we went on a 5 day trip to Berlin to explore and draw things (and spend far too much money on cool arts magazines... I don't think that was part of the brief though). It was fun! These are just some of my photos, there are rather a lot, but to put this into perspective I took around 350 photos (and that's not including the disposable camera I used!) so I've just picked a few to share.
This place was an old war bunker turned into an art gallery. My friend Robbie really wanted to go in but it was always closed when we went past. I think he was saying something along the lines of "It's not fair! Why isn't it open? This place was MADE for me!"
There was an artist studios and squats where the artists lived around here. It was a pretty dodgy area, but really cool!
One of the main things I noticed about Berlin, aside from the awesome graffiti and the galleries that were apparently open to everyone apart from Robbie and I, was how many cranes there were. CRANES. EVERYWHERE. I really like cranes and really enjoy drawing them so that was great for me.
This was the building opposite our hostel which was really cool and had comic panels all over the walls and a piece of artwork in every room... I forgot to take photos inside though >_>;

Seriously, I'd go nuts there. I absolutely love street art! Shame about the bunker art gallery. It sounds like it would've been really cool to see.
