So this has been popping up on tumblr a lot, Zoids CC/GF is getting a re-release in a blu-ray box set.  Box bonuses: - Original CG illustration 3-sided case - Tadashi Sakazaki original illustration special digipack case (2 types) - ZOIDS encyclopedia special edit edition (64 pages special booklet) *edited edition of previously released "ZOIDS encyclopedia -ZOIDS anime 10nen no kiseki-" by Shogakukan Shueiesha productions. - Special new opening CG footage (appx. 2min) - ZOIDS SIGGRAPH 2001 nominate CG footage special edition (appx. 4min) There's also another "special edition" that comes with a limited Kotobukiya HMM Blade Liger in new mold colors (God I hope it's pearly blue). The price is just major ouch, but I'd be happy to try and get one of those LTD Bladeys if someone sells it separate (only if it does look good xD).
But it's nice that they've remastered the anime, hopefully this might help bring up more Zoiders? Who knows... ._.

There has been some posts of images from the remastered and it does look really nice and sharp, but yeah that price HURTS. I wish they would make a version that just has the blu-ray discs and no frills, esp a DVD blu-ray combo pack. Would love that. Just at least something to make this affordable =v=
It's kinda funny that this is just popping up when I'm in another zoid kick XD
Oh apparently this also has a new opening song too. Can't remember if it was by RAMAR or not.

Yeah it was quite funny to open the Zoids tag to "ZOIDS BLU-RAY. OMG GUYS ZOIDS BLU-RAY. I'M SO EXCITED. HAVE YOU HEARD ABOUT THE ZOIDS BLU-RAY?"
It sounds like a great package, and it's good to see that they're acknowledging the fanbase that Zoids has, just a real shame about the price!

The good thing about BluRays is that they have 3 Regions only if I remember right. So non-Japanese people in the region band that Japan uses can also play it. But yeah it's likely that set may not have English options or even subs, I do want the re-releases to have subs so I can understand what the heck's going on ._. |

I've heard that this set is region-free, but no subs. Although on the bright side it does give people access to a 100% uncut version of the show, even if they can't quite tell what's going on.

On any site that have it listed, I haven't seen a region code placed on it. It would've been nice if they have at least added subs though, esp if they wanted foreigners to be more interested in it.
