Have you ever tried to get people to watch Zoids?
Many times when I first discovered Zoids, I was a bagger at Winn Dixie. If someone was naive enough to let me help them out to their car, they would be subjected to "Have you heard of Zoids? It comes on at 4:30." XD
Once when I was working at the Lost Colony Box Office (never again), I was taking a ticket order and heard the music for Tom and Jerry in the background. I commented on this and the woman said "Yea, my kids love it." "I watch it on my days off! ... Did you know a show called Zoids comes on at 5?"
Bonus question:
Have you ever regretted telling someone to watch it?
I will only call him Zil. Only a fraction of his screenname and not his real name, but I wish I hadn't told him to watch zoids. He's overanalyzing the show to death. "Now it's just hurting me, talking about people digging up aquifers.... Which is patently impossible. >.<" And he overanalyzed the salty coffee, too. I'm this close to telling him to stop watching zoids, and I don't want to do that, but I'm sick of him complaining about it! Yet when I tell him to lay off fiction if he hates it so much, he insists he loves fantasy and "Super powers, science-fiction technology.... all of that. It bends and breaks laws." (Which hello? Last I checked Zoids was SCIENCE FICTION.)

I'm probably the one who over analyzes shows and such now, since taking AP English for two years and my writing and composition class, analyzing shows is what I do best. If I could write a paper on Zoids, it would be fabulous. But I know I don't kill it. However, I would like to point out that methane hydrate (the fire ice stuff) is legit and it's my favorite compound because they mentioned it on Zoids.
And I know that was way off topic. I've spread Zoids to two people, but I tell ours how cool it is. My future roommate was actually the one who made me let her watch 15 episodes in a row just so she could see the ending. Even though I told her, I had to wait about a year before they finally played the "final four" on the television. My other friend enjoys it too, and is the only person who tries to play the game and beat me.
Recently though, another of my friend's told me her brother started watching it and I loled, cause he likes war type stuff. He does civil war re-enactments so I wasn't surprised, but I could see him being the one to say the show was shit and it wasn't an accurate representation of war...just cause, he does it to every war show/movie/book.

I have a friend at school and I sit next to him in Computing. One day, we *cough*weren't*cough* doing our work and he looked over at me and saw my computer's background, which was a shield liger. He asked what it was and I spent 15 minutes telling him about Zoids. He's an anime freak like me so he said 'Hmmm.... Maybe I'll watch that'. Now we have this joke about Molgas and sexy parties XD

I'm like Ghostie, never spread zoids to anyone cuz they already knew it, or just wouldn't be interested. But I have gotten people to watch Outlaw Star and Gundam Wing XD

Ive never tried to get anyone to watch Zoids, mostly because either they already do, or I know it's not their thing. *coughs* Didn't ya introduce Zoids to Electricfox? o.o Mah memory's cruddy XD And I never tried to spread Zoids either... models on display in my room when I have visitors'll suffice XD |

I've told a few people about it, normally to the reaction of "What is it with you and robots?". But nah, never seriously tried to spread it. I suppose the main reason is that the only animes my friends tend to watch are things like Gakuen Alice, Ouran High School Host Club, Cardcaptors, stuff like that =_=
I also have a bad habit of accidentally ruining shows for people, for example, my friends won't watch Wolf's Rain, some because they say it sounds too depressing, others because they say "I already know what's going to happen now."
Erm yeah.

most of the time people go 'you need to grow up man' and I'm like 'NO YOU NEED TO GROW DOWN, ZOIDS IS AWESOME!'
But then, occasionally, people will see my drawing of the liger zero, and some random person, who I thought would never ever be interested in zoids commented on how he had a few models, and loved the games and the show, leaving me to go 'WTF YOU LIKE ZOIDS?!' XDD
So yeah, I made a few new friends. XDD
