Tekkoshocon is the anime convention that's held every year in Pittsburgh PA and I've been going to it almost every year. Lots of great stuff in the Dealer's room, awesome bands, and fun panels. This year they had Suicide Ali perform! They also had Vic Mignogna (Edward Elric in FMA and Death Scythe in Soul Eater) and some other voice actors this year. My and my friend Ryu decided to cosplay as zoids, me reusing my Liger Zero costume and turning it into Schneider and Ryu made a Shadow Fox. Tekko went from Thursday to Sunday, but we only went on Friday through Sunday (had class on Thursday :/ So our day was pretty much go to Tekko, come back, eat pizza, and watch Soul Eater cuz my one friend who came up got addicted to Soul Eater in the first 3 mins of watching it (seriously). Oh! Forgot to mention that we went to a panel called "How to survive a mech attack" Was funny when someone was asking a question, then the spokesperson said "Watch what you say cuz there's some zoids sitting right behind you." XD My cosplay:  Then Ryu in her Shadow Fox cosplay.  The Dealer's Room! Lots of awesome merchandise without having to play shipping! The room's huge and dark with lights and really loud music XD  Also the Dealer's Room. There were about 3 set ups that had just walls of Gundams XD There's also many many sword dealers (like in the bottom pic)  The badge designs. Each day has a different image. Makes it easier for security XD  And now all the merch I got. Was soooo happy they actually had Soul Eater stuff this year (me and Ryu both). So yeah, got a wallscroll and some Death The Kid buttons :3  And not surprising, I got a few Gundams. Deathscythe Hell Custom and Astray Gundam Mirage Frame. I only go after the unique ones.   AND A PINK AND PURPLE FREAKIN GUNDAM! Seriously, this thing is awesome! XD  |

I was gonna go as Shadow Fox last Animania! o.o Tho my plans failed (I had the same ideas XD).

That reminds me. I have subbed Soul Eater now... I just haven't got round to watching it yet.

I'm just trying to figure out what to go as next year XD; Yeah it was a blast. Was funny when we would take one step then someone would ask for our picture, take another few steps, picture. Awesome! Well, She got the cheaper Astray lol... When i went with her i purchased a 30th anniversary edition of the Custom Red astray, and IT IS SMALLER THAN HER ASTRAY! I feel sad T_T, but at least i have a Buster Sword that goes with it (which is quite literally the same size as the gundam that it needs a stand for it) Planning to go next year though with a zoid outfit (since it was my first convention ever and i didnt have really time to get things organized) and i have to agree, that was funny as heck when he pointed her out saying that  |

Cool Schneider cosplay. I've been wanting to go to Gencon in Indianapolis for years, just never want to fork over the money. It's gonna get bigger this year since they are expanding the convention center downtown and I hope more anime vendors and people come, cause it's mostly a gaming convention.
I would either cosplay as Sailor Saturn or Sailor Star Fighter (depending on how much skin I wanna show).
