Oh man, you Americans and your awesome conventions!
I really love those cosplays, I've been thinking of making an Ambient cosplay some time, but lack to skills/knowledge/money to do so.
UK conventions seem to be either 18+ only or not as amazing as they could be. London Expo is okay, although I've heard that hasn't been so great recently. Whiiile I'm on the subject, is anyone going to Leeds Thought Bubble this November? My sister's got a table so I think I'll tag along!

I never go ANYWHERE TT_TT The only con I've been to is the one in Clacton, which I stopped going to because, the last year we tried to go, I checked with the place they were advertised to be to check the opening time, only to find that the planners had never called the hall back to confirm the booking, and thus if they were going ahead, it wouldn't be there. |

I've never been to a con. But story: my friend went to small con a couple weeks ago, I think in Illinois(?) and met Brad Swaile. She had no idea who he was at first, but wouldn't ya know, he's so recognizable by his voice. I wish I could have been there too, just cause I lol when I hear his voice. At least you've BEEN to a con. T_T |

OMG IT IS TRUE!!!! There is a Waldo at EVERY convention. There was a Waldo at Anime Boston, aikido456.deviantart.com/art/Anime-Boston-10-Cosplay-Group-159651804, there is a picture of the AB waldo with my Halo friends. When I saw that waldo in that vid you posted I laughed. I am gonna have to keep an eye out for a waldo at AAC. Cosplay a zoid you stick out like a sore thumb and get hounded for pictures yet Waldo blends in so well lol. Your LZS and SF cosplays looked AWSOME. Coventions are so much fun. |
