ROFL! Oh yes, definite weird image there!
As for broken Shieldy canopies, if yours broke as easily as that, it makes me feel extremely lucky that Shield Tiger's survived.
I kid you not, the guy I got him from practically just took him apart partially and just flung all the parts into a jiffy with no protection other than the thin layer of bubble wrap in the jiffy!

Lol, yeah places like that do tend to attract dead cars don't they? And shopping trolleys. If I had a quid for every dead shopping trolley I've seen in a river, or upside down in a park somewhere. It's like there's some kind of shopping trolley herd that only comes out at night and feeds on wastelands. Perhaps the cars hunt them? Places like that and the council estate at the back of my house, which has been nicknamed our own "personal ghetto". Brilliant fun to watch after the local rugby club dos, or football matches, let me tell you! The river in my town just seems to spawn trolleys (sainsburys ones oddly enough, maybe we have middle-class louts?) and the cars could've done a better job! Getting so far and catching on fire? Rubbish! ROFL! Oh yes, definite weird image there! As for broken Shieldy canopies, if yours broke as easily as that, it makes me feel extremely lucky that Shield Tiger's survived. Maybe its not so bad if the canopy isn't actually attached to the shield liger? What I think happened is that the canopy opened in my bag and the uhh.. plastic bit that holds it on (my mind has gone completely blank) snapped when it hit something else in my bag. It was my own fault anyway, I just popped him in a hawkins bazaar bag and was on my way, not a good idea!

I kid you not, the guy I got him from practically just took him apart partially and just flung all the parts into a jiffy with no protection other than the thin layer of bubble wrap in the jiffy! At least he took the Sheild Tiger apart, I had a seller shipped me a lot of zoids assembled and loose in a box without a padding any sort (didn't even wrapped the zoids in a bag to pieces from escaping.) and box wasn't completely taped shut. Naturally, few pieces are missing but I was lucky it wasn't worse. Back to custom, I find using a knife is the crudest way to cut a zoid, a small hand saw would be better. A dremel is best tool to cut, drill, and sand zoids pieces. My custom Blade Runner is my first attempt to put joints on a zoid. Pirate, if you are still looking for lances, a blox zoid called Deamonhead has pair of good size lances. Other suggestions would be look at Gundam kits.

Dremel's are a customizer's best friend! Though I use a combo of tin snips and a dremel.

Dremels, I will have to remember this if I'm ever planning to customise another zoid in the future! Thankyou :D Ooo! I'll have to look into it. I was considering buying a couple of viking lances and modifying them to make them fit properly (I only want to put them where the missile pods would go, and I'm not intending that part to go back up afterwards.) In other news, I found some black and silver spraypaints in my brother's old room and went a bit trigger happy. I WAS going to use gold for the blue bits, but the silver looks so nice. Also, I think gold would clash too much with the cockpit and I have no idea how to recolour those and still keep them clear. What do you guys think, anyway?

The cars try their bests, but never underestimate the power of shopping trolleys Anyway, I'd better stop derailing your thread or Ghostie will hurt me

Sainsbury's is the nearest supermarket to the river park, though some kids have managed to get the odd tesco (and even more impressively) asda trolleys up there! If we don't tell her she won't know? Alrighty then ;)

Thanks Blueeyes! My main concern at the moment is still those leg joints, hopefully the glue gun will do it, but we'll have to see. If all else fails I may resort to melting those joints on!
Quick Update
All the parts have been sprayed. The head has been resprayed because the first coat looked a bit messy. I've also ordered a silver paint marker for detailing.

It was my own fault anyway, I just popped him in a hawkins bazaar bag and was on my way, not a good idea! Well, it was and it wasn't. The head was still together, but wasn't attached to the pegs on the body. Oh, ouch... That's... ouch! Back to custom, I find using a knife is the crudest way to cut a zoid But undeniably the most fun! *Holds up thumb covered in knife cut scars* Dremel's are a customizer's best friend! Though I use a combo of tin snips and a dremel. I'd love a Dremel! Also, I think gold would clash too much with the cockpit and I have no idea how to recolour those and still keep them clear. I've found transparent blue paint on transparent orange makes a nice (but dark), transparent smokey colour If we don't tell her she won't know? Alrighty then ;) I KNOW ALL!!!!

@Paint comment Ingenious! I'll see how things go, I've kind of gotten attached to the silver now.

@ Paint comment Ingenious! I'll see how things go, I've kind of gotten attached to the silver now. It might still go well with the silver. In my head it does anyway. You can see it just about transparent there. It looks better when held up to the light.

Does that command wolf have a blue cockpit? If it does, it looks exactly like a command wolf that I was going to make XD
