It's transparent blue paint on an orange canopy. It's has a very very slight blue tint, but in real life it comes across as a very dark, leaning to black, smokey colour

You see transparent paint? Is it called that because you can see through it when you put it on a canopy? I might get some of that for my command wolf if that's the case

Transparent: adj. meaning seethrough, clear, able to look through.

I'll think about recolouring the cockpit when I've got the pens to do the detailing on the pipes and such. _{And when I see how much this transparent paint costs!}

Aaaanyway, I got the glue gun off Jacob today, its the smallest glue gun I've ever seen! I reglued everything apart from one cog. Why? Because SERIOUS GLUE isn't as serious as the name suggests.

And the Shield Liger looks AWESOME. It looks so much better posable! Great work so far!

Silver looks good on Shield Liger. You did a good job on adding joints to your Shield Liger, he looks good!

Thanks guys! Some of his joints are really, really weak, I think I might put some wire in there to strengthen them.

Just silver and black was a bit boring, so I thought I'd add some lovely shiny details. This might be the last update, though I'm still determined to add some extra wirey bits, maybe scuff him up a bit with dry brushing and give him a few extra touches. But anyway, here's all the extra details I've added, you can see where the front feet haven't taken the paint properly and yes, I have lost the pilot, I'm gonna have to look for him later!







I have always thought gold looks really good on zoids. Maybe that's why King Liger is one of my favourites?

That looks great! The gold really focuses attention on the pipes, which is what you want for Steampunk.

My only quib is the orange canopy. I suddenly thought, there is a smokey black transparent paint which'll probably look better than using the blue.

ALTHOUGH! Electric said he has a good idea. He explained it to me, but I think it'll probably be best coming from him, because I'm not 100% sure what he meant.

@shadow Yeah they do! I really wasn't expecting the gold to be that shiny, I really like it though.
