But in sticking with them, I don't ever get playlist options, so if I wanted a certain song, I'd have to hit forwardforwardforwardforwardforwardforwardforwardforwardforward forwardforwardforwardforwardforwardforwardforwardforwardforward forwardforwardforwardforwardforwardforwardforwardforwardforward forwardforwardforwardforwardforwardforwardforwardforwardforward until I find the song I want and that gets TEDIOUS. So I have to cycle through my music or suffer the consequences. Oh hell, I remember that. Personally I'd take the cord over the USB if it gives me a playlist, but everyone has their preferences ^^ Oh hell yes!! Not that I can drive, but still!

Problem with cord is I'll end up losing it. How I haven't managed to lose mom's cellphone to computer cord is a mystery to me, because I tend to lose my camera to computer cord at least once a month and have to wait until I can find it to share pictures again. >_< Once I lost it and I kept thinking I found it only to realise it was the cellphone to computer cord. Or that one time when I found the palm pilot cord that I couldn't find, the cellphone cord, the cord for charging the camera's battery, the cellphone charger (which had previously been lost), but never could find the camera USB cord so I gave up. It ended up turning up when I was looking for the once-again-lost phone charger.

Ouch! I see what you mean!
I usually keep mine in my bag (In case I need to charge it at work - the USB cable also connects to a pulg) or in the box beside my chair.

There is a USB to Car Lighter Adaptor~ :3 I just bought meself one the other day because I failed to remember to recharge my mp3 when I'm on long trips, but the problem is (I just realized it) that I can't play music while it's charging XD

I have a (Dollar Tree) USB car charger adaptor. Which would be great for my phone... if the cord was actually MINE. (It's my mom's. I use it because I keep managing to lose my phone charger.) But I doubt the USB -> car charger would work on charging anything else I use (MP3 player takes AAA batteries, camera needs battery to charge in the little charger thing, gets no charging from being plugged into computer...) And I don't think the USB -> car charger works like I would want the USB jack to in a car. IE, play music from the MP3 Player through the sound system. XD

Another rant to place here, that I read on DeviantArt about new and inexperienced artists and how to cheat them: kaitol.com/how-to-hire-an-artist/Ugh, that pissed me off.

I want to murder him |: If he steals an inch of my artwork, I will seriously murder him. They need to stop stealing other ppl's creativity. I'm just beginning to get tempted to NOT post on DA... ever.

Tthere's a reason I only post fanart and/or my crappy art to dA. It's because I don't trust ANYONE. There's a reason I don't want to make trueform Zigor public. I don't trust ANYONE. I don't think any of my art has been stolen, but I would rather it not be, and if it is, I'd not hurt so much if it was fanart. *shrug*

I'm getting more and more apprehensive about posting art. I don't allow downloads anymore and always watermark stuff now. I know that sucks for you good people who have to see it that way, but my trust has gone down alot.

I watermark my works as well and stopped DL's. But ppl can still rightclick your images.... I wish DA'd prevent rightclicks. Otherwise I'll have my own page, passworded so only ppl I trust can come in and see my works... or something XD

Well, even rightclick can't stop theft...
Now keep in mind, I only ever do this for my own collection. I only share with friends if the need arises, but normally when I download something it is either a desktop, a reference or just cool stuff for me to look at later. I have no desire of using my knowledge for ill gain...
but I can pass right click protection. >_> In two ways, usually. I tend to stick with the easier way though (which I'm sure anyone could find out... but hey.)
I would explain how, but I don't really want my explanations hanging out there for someone who DOES have ill intentions to find and use to their advantage.

The only way to truly protect your artwork is to never show it to anyone. I'll take the risk and to be honest, I'm not so bothered about people stealing my art, it's not fantastic, all they can do is claim it as their own and most art thieves are so daft that they either: use similar tags, making them really easy to track OR they steal art from loads of different people, making it clear that they are art thieves.
As for that "ripping off artists" thing, the only thing that bothers me about it is the "not paying artists until they've finished" bit. A lot of the people on deviantART etc. are just amateurs so even what this guy is calling a small payment, is probably big money for them.
Ah I dunno.

Wait... Can someone point out to me where in the article he states that he "steals" peoples work... I see a lot about hiring the artist with the most minimal pay possible, but I see nothing about him actually stealing peoples work.
